Walter Kronzer began the practice of law at Scott, Douglass & Luton in 1988. His responsibilities included handling commercial litigation matters, contract disputes, oil and gas disputes, common-law or statutory fraud matters, DTPA suits, insurance coverage disputes, sworn account actions, shareholder derivative matters, employment discrimination matters, and other business torts. The practice areas of Kronzer expanded to include personal injury litigation matters such as disputes involving professional malpractice, vehicular or auto/pedestrian accidents, and products liability matters.

Kronzer joined Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Ballard & Friend in 1991. It was there that he began to focus his interests in appellate matters. There he argued matters before state and federal appellate courts. It was during this time that he obtained his certification in Civil Appellate Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

He has also been an author and speaker at continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the University of Houston, Texas Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Houston Bar Association, and others. The topics addressed have ranged from insurance litigation matters to the Texas Tort Claims Act. Additionally, in 1995, the A.A. White Institute certified Kronzer to act as a court-appointed mediator. He has mediated civil law matter ranging from personal injury lawsuits to ad valorem disputes.
